What is TOR?
The TOR Browser can be used to visit the so called Dark or Deep Web. It is not possible to visit .onion domains with a normal browser. TOR is praised for letting people browse the Deep Web anonymously, which has its positive and negative sides to it. By using the TOR Browser, you can visit websites that are for example blocked for the country that you are in. It is also being used by journalists that want their idendity kept hidden.
But because users of the TOR network can use it with a pretty high degree of anonymity, there are also lots of illegal activities and websites to be found there. So our advise is to be careful when browsing the TOR Network. And try not to engage in any illigal activities.
That being said, it is not so easy to browse the TOR Network when you just starting it up for the first time. There are however some search engines that you can use to find what you are looking for. So we made a list of the best TOR search engines.
WORD OF WARNING: Be very carefull when using TOR and its search engines. You might come across illegal, disturbing, shocking and extreme content that you probably don’t want to have anything to do with. We are not resposible for any damage to you or your computer when you choose to use the Tor service. Futhermore we do NOT promote or condone illegal activities.

TOR Search Engine List
This is probably the most well known search engine for TOR. At the time of writing, it has indexed a total of 293485 pages. However when you search for something, it will most of the time give you multiple results from the same page over and over again.
You can visit Torch by entering this URL in the Tor browser: http://xmh57jrzrnw6insl.onion
Next up is Candle, which kinda looks like Google with a dark template.
Visit Candle by entering this URL in the Tor browser: http://gjobqjj7wyczbqie.onion
I think that this one might be the best search engine for TOR that there is. It has a similar layout as Torch, but does a much better job with giving you relevant results.
You can visit NOT EVIL by entering this URL in the Tor browser: http://hss3uro2hsxfogfq.onion
You might have heard of this search engine before, because there is also a clearnet version of it. This search engine indexes links from clearnet and not from TOR itself. All of the others above will only give you results based on deep web links.
You can Visit Duckduckgo by entering this URL in the Tor browser: http://3g2upl4pq6kufc4m.onion

There are a few more TOR search engines, but those above are the most used ones. But here are some of the others just in case you were looking for those. Just a note, some of them might be down.
